Nepal's National Blind Cricket team have set off on a 4 day journey (bus and train) to Pakistan. Due to lack of funds with the Blind Cricket Association, Nepal, the players had to make the journey via rail and bus. They left Kathmandu on Tuesday, 2nd of January and will reach Pakistan on the 6th. The Blind World Cup is being jointly hosted by Pakistan and Dubai, UAE. Nepal will be playing against Pakistan on the 8th and India on the 9th.
They might have had to make the arduous journey via train but there is a slight chance they can fly back home. Nepal Cricket Supporters Society is raising funds for their return ticket. In a heartwarming move, Parash Khadka, captain to Nepali cricket team has donated NRS 50,000.
