Teriya Magar honored as “Lumbini peace ambassador”
Teriya Magar has been honourned with the title “Lumbini child peace ambassador” by Lumbini Kapilbastu Day Campaign amid a program held on 29 June.
Teriya, a Nepali girl who won “DID L’il Masters” Season 3 which is a dance competition broadcast on Indian Television channel- ZEE TV.
Teriya,11, a permanent residence of Rupandehi district of Nepal, defeated Hardik Ruparel, Anushka Chetri and Sadhwin Shetty at the grand finale held at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune on 21 June.
Speaking at the program, Prakash Man Singh, Deputy Prime Minister and Local Development Minister and also the chief guest of the program, said Teriya is the pride and prestige of Nepal.
Ram Kumar Shrestha, world coordinator of Lumbini Kapilbastu Day Campaign said Teriya was honored with the title to pay tribute to her achievement that held Nepalese prestige high in the world.
She has been studying at five grade at a school in Rudrapur.
